Water, Water, Everywhere

Well, we met in Mansfield after work, and rode together over to the house.  We went by Lowe's and bought some heavy duty trash bags, a mop to clean the floors, a bucket, and some floor cleaner.

When we drove up to the house, there was a bunch of police activity in front of the house next door.  I think there had been a fender-bender, and we were a little distracted . . . UNTIL WE SAW WATER POURING OUT FROM UNDER THE GARAGE DOOR!!  ekkkkkkkk

It looked like the water heater had busted.  We knew there was a problem with it, because we weren't getting hot water.  Robert had just talked to someone about it today about looking at it sometime this week.

And then we went inside and saw the REAL damage!!  Good thing the living room floor is sunken, because the living room and the den are the only floors with damage.

Hey, atleast they are clean now!!  :)

The wood is starting to warp already, no telling how long ago it happened . . . couldn't be more than 24 hours though.

Looks like the floors in the den are ruined too.  You can see the ends bowing up.

I think it's a laminate though??
